About Us
The Fund is established to commemorate the memory of Rev. Fr. James Pathinathan, a champion of human rights and social justice who spent most of his life in service of the people of Vanni.

The goal of the foundation is to help economically needy students of Vanni to access quality education.
We believe all children can embrace who they are,
can define their future, and can change the world.
Our Mission
The mission of the foundation is to enhance the educational opportunities for quality education to the financially needy school children of Vanni. This is to be achieved by providing financial assistance to children and families based on family income and other circumstances.
Our Vision
Our vision is to provide financial assistance to 10 students of Vanni during the first year and increase the number of recipients each year. This will be achieved from the funds raised and invested. The fund is to be managed and distributed under the direction of the Board of JPM-VEEF.
